Icon Foods has relaunched its website with a focus on reducing friction in the ingredient discovery process. The new iconfoods.com eliminates gated PDFs and removes the need for formulators to email for product documentation.

Three Search Pathways The redesigned site offers three entry points for formulators to locate ingredients: By product type: Users can filter through categories including high-intensity sweeteners, modulators, and rare sugars to quickly narrow the portfolio. By ingredient: Formulators who know the specific ingredient but not the product name can browse all products and blends containing that ingredient. By application: The site maps ingredients back to the problems they solve—whether for beverages, frozen dairy, bars, or other formats—allowing users to start from the formulation challenge.

Complete Technical Documentation Each product page includes a complete document set with spec sheets, certificates of analysis (COA), safety data sheets (SDS), and additional technical resources available for immediate download. "A supplier's site shouldn't make you email for a spec sheet," Icon Foods stated in announcing the redesign. "Your time belongs on the bench, not waiting on your inbox."

Why It Matters

For food and beverage companies, reducing time spent sourcing ingredient data directly impacts R&D productivity. By eliminating administrative friction, Icon Foods positions its platform as a tool built around formulator workflows rather than sales processes—a model that may influence how other ingredient suppliers structure their digital presence.
